Quick answer

What 125x is: 125x is a web app at 125x.app. You connect your YouTube subscriptions, and it gives you a feed of the latest videos from the channels you follow, each with a summary: a verdict, the 5 key takeaways, and the spoiler, plus Actionable and Lessons tabs with more tips. What YouTube is doing

On July 15, 2025 YouTube renamed its "repetitious content" monetization rule to "inauthentic content." It lists "AI-generated content made with generic or unoriginal templates giving the impression of mass production" among the things that can't earn money (YouTube Help, channel monetization policies).

In his 2026 letter, CEO Neal Mohan named "managing AI slop" as a priority and said YouTube is building on the systems it uses against spam and clickbait to reduce low-quality, repetitive videos (YouTube Blog, Neal Mohan's 2026 letter). YouTube also started stepping up enforcement against egregious clickbait in December 2024, beginning in India (YouTube Official Blog (India), Dec 18, 2024).

How 125x helps

125x builds your feed from the channels you subscribed to, so you start with people you picked. Every video gets a summary with a verdict (watch, skim, or skip) and the reason, 5 key takeaways, action items, lessons, and the spoiler, which is the thing the title and thumbnail are teasing, just said plainly.

Shorts feeds are where most of the numbers above come from. In 125x you see your subscriptions with the gist of every video up front.
