Just the channels you subscribed to
Quick answer
You already did the hard part. You went through YouTube and picked the creators you trust. Then the Home feed treats that list like one weak signal and fills your screen with whatever keeps strangers watching.
What 125x is: 125x is a web app at 125x.app. You connect your YouTube subscriptions, and it gives you a feed of the latest videos from the channels you follow, each with a summary: a verdict, the 5 key takeaways, and the spoiler, plus Actionable and Lessons tabs with more tips. You read that and decide what's actually worth opening.
125x flips that. Your subscriptions are the source. The feed's job is to spend as little of your attention as possible, which is the opposite of YouTube's job.
Open 125xYou pick how the feed is ranked
There are 8 modes at the top of the feed. Mix is the default. It's 60% of the best videos from the channels you use most, 20% of the fastest rising videos from the channels you subscribed to and kind of forgot, and 20% random from everything.
Top videos ranks by an overall score. Most popular ranks by views per hour.
Sleepers only shows the channels you forgot about. Micro creators only shows channels under 100,000 subscribers. Fresh is newest first.
Most recent is a plain timeline of every subscription. Shuffle is random.
A little discovery, on purpose
In Mix, about 1 in 9 cards is a video from outside your subscriptions, related to the channels you use most. About 1 in 14 is a deep cut from the long tail of your own list.
That's it. The feed doesn't slowly turn back into YouTube Home.
Topics
Every channel and video gets a topic: Dating, Self Improvement, Fitness, Money, Tech & AI, Podcasts, Books, or Entertainment. Tap a topic chip and the whole feed filters to it.
As you use it, 125x learns which topics your subscriptions and your opens actually lean into, and uses that to rank. It works from video titles and what you do in 125x, nothing else.
It shows its work
The Passed tab is a log of every video the feed has shown you and how many times, with a status on each one: in rotation, suppressed, out of rotation, or opened. If a video disappears, you can go look at why.
Connecting your account
You sign in with Google and 125x asks for one thing, read-only access to YouTube. It can see your subscriptions and video details.
It can't post, comment, like, subscribe, or change anything on your account. Google's Third Party Data Safety team verified the app on Oct 24, 2026.
If you'd rather not connect an account at all, you don't have to. You can import your subscriptions with a bookmark from your YouTube channels page, or upload screenshots of the Subscriptions tab in the YouTube app. 125x reads the channel names, and the screenshots are processed in memory and never stored.
