125x

The fitness tip, before the 15 minute intro

Quick answer

Fitness channels upload a lot, and plenty of it is the same point made again with a new thumbnail. You want the new stuff, the program change, the one tip, without watching every video to find it.

What 125x is: 125x is a web app at 125x.app. You connect your YouTube subscriptions, and it gives you a feed of the latest videos from the channels you follow, each with a summary: a verdict, the 5 key takeaways, and the spoiler, plus Actionable and Lessons tabs with more tips. You read that and decide what's actually worth opening.

Tap Fitness in 125x and the feed filters to the fitness videos from the channels you follow. Each one has a summary, so you can tell in seconds if it's worth the full watch.

What you get on every fitness video

Open any video in 125x and you get a short brief instead of the player. There's a verdict (watch, skim, or skip) with the reason, 5 key takeaways, the things the video tells you to actually do, the lessons worth keeping, and the spoiler, which is the thing the title and thumbnail are teasing, just said plainly.

The Actionable tab lists the tips, sets and changes the video tells you to make, and the Lessons tab has the bigger principles, so you can take it to the gym without rewatching.

Action items pull out what the video tells you to do, separate from what it tells you to know, which for fitness is kind of the whole point.

How the topic filter works

Every channel and video in 125x gets one of 8 topics: Dating, Self Improvement, Fitness, Money, Tech & AI, Podcasts, Books, and Entertainment. Tap a topic chip at the top of the feed and the whole feed filters to it.

It starts by matching keywords, then a background profiler reads each channel's actual video titles and fixes the ones whose names don't say anything. A channel named after a person gets a topic based on what they really upload, and it takes at least 2 matching titles.

125x also learns which topics your subscriptions and your opens lean into, and uses that to rank your feed. It keeps that between visits. All of it comes from video titles and what you do in 125x, nothing else.

No repeats

The feed won't keep showing you the same video. Once it's been shown 3 times without you opening it, it's out. Opened videos go to Viewed and stay out of the feed.

Connecting your account

You sign in with Google and 125x asks for one thing, read-only access to YouTube. It can see your subscriptions and video details.

It can't post, comment, like, subscribe, or change anything on your account. Google's Third Party Data Safety team verified the app on Oct 24, 2026.

If you'd rather not connect an account at all, you don't have to. You can import your subscriptions with a bookmark from your YouTube channels page, or upload screenshots of the Subscriptions tab in the YouTube app. 125x reads the channel names, and the screenshots are processed in memory and never stored.

Questions

Does the Fitness filter show channels I don't follow?

No. Topic filters work on your feed, which comes from your subscriptions. Only Mix mode adds about 1 in 9 related discovery cards.

What if a channel is in the wrong topic?

The background profiler keeps checking each channel's video titles and reclassifies channels as it learns what they actually upload.

Can 125x change my YouTube account?

No. It has read-only access and can't post, comment, like, subscribe, or change anything.
